Tompla has achieved the chain of custody certification

The environment is one of the principal concerns within Tompla; we have identified this contribution of an improved satisfaction towards our clients.

This is an affirmation; but is fact, Tompla have been involved with protecting the environment for many years, by which our achievements made us exceedingly ambitious with this subject.

We have successfully established a protection standard towards the environment and obtained excellent results. This made us take the decision to obtain the optimum quality standards, with the highest respect for the environment, by means of a chain of effective measures, from within the company.

To reduce the impact of our activity within the environment, Tompla adopted measures for the separation and classification of waste for recycling, purification of water, reduction of noise pollution and atmospheric emissions. The employees in the factory and in the offices have been made aware of the responsibility toward the environment and the board has made important investments to adapt these facilities.

This responsibility is not limited to the internal production process, it is extended to raw materials, using the recycled and less harmful materials towards the environment (which doesn’t contain pollutants).

Recently we have been focusing our efforts in this manner, and as result of our commitment, Tompla has received the CHAIN OF CUSTODY CERTIFICATION, issued by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a non-profit organisation devoted to encouraging the responsible management of the world's forests with a “chain of custody” certificate and accreditation system.
